Thunder Bay, ON – April 2025 – Marten Falls First Nation is proud to invite the public to the Grand Opening celebration of Cav-Tal Foods Ltd., held on-site at the Cav-Tal business location—701 Norah Crescent, Thunder Bay—on Thursday, April 17, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This celebration marks a major milestone in Marten Falls’ journey toward economic sovereignty and food security.
The grand opening event will offer an opportunity to tour the facility, meet the team, and learn more about how this acquisition supports regional food supply efforts across Northern Ontario. The facility now includes a walk-in retail service, increasing access to quality food products for local residents. Refreshments and light snacks will be served, and community members, partners, and media are warmly welcome to attend.
