Minister of Finance to Deliver Update of Economic and Fiscal Projections

Minister  of Finance Joe Oliver will deliver the Update of Economic and Fiscal Projections  at a luncheon hosted by the Canadian Club of Toronto on Wednesday, November 12,  2014.

The  speech will take place at 12:20 p.m. at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, 123  Queen Street West, in Toronto, Ontario.

Embargoed Technical Briefings for  Media

Department of Finance officials  will hold embargoed technical briefings in Ottawa and in Toronto in advance of  Minister Oliver’s presentation.

Ottawa

Ottawa area media  representatives should present themselves no later than 10:15 a.m. in the lobby  of the offices of Export Development Canada (EDC), 150 Slater Street, Ottawa.  They will then be escorted to the meeting facilities.

EDC  is hosting this briefing since the Department of Finance’s new conference  centre at 90 Elgin Street is still being completed.

Information related to the Minister’s remarks will be  made available under embargo starting at 10:30 a.m. Reporters will be asked to sign an undertaking  to respect the embargo.

The technical briefing will start at 11:00 a.m.

Toronto

Toronto area media  representatives should present themselves no later than 10:15 a.m. at the Sheraton Centre  Toronto Hotel, 123 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario.  They will then be escorted to the meeting facilities.
