The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) will convene a one-day National Virtual Forum on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Eastern Time), to bring together First Nations leadership for an important dialogue on the federal government’s proposed Bill C-5, One Canadian Economy: An Act to enact the Free Trade and Labour Mobility in Canada Act and the Building Canada Act.
This forum is being held to share information on the proposed federal legislation and provide an opportunity for collaborative discussion.
The session is open to First Nations Chiefs, Proxies, Council Members, Regional Chiefs, and technicians.
