Ontario Motorcoach Association and Indigenous Tourism Ontario sign memorandum of understanding
The Ontario Motorcoach Association (OMCA) and Indigenous Tourism Ontario (ITO) are partnering to boost Indigenous tourism throughout Ontario.
On Nov. 14, the two parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that sets out how the two will work together to increase tourism engagement, educate tourism operators, and promote Indigenous tourism experiences across Ontario.
The MOU was signed during the OMCA Marketplace Event currently taking place in Niagara Falls, Ont.
“This undertaking will support OMCA’s strategic goals to foster an understanding of Indigenous business culture, build meaningful and supportive Indigenous relationships, increase engagement with its current and future members, local Indigenous groups, and operators,” the OMCA said in a news release.
