Members represent Inuvialuit, Yellowknife and Happy Valley-Goose Bay for Inuit women’s group

Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada has elected three new executive members to its board of directors.

The national Inuit women’s group spokesperson Amanda Deseure made the announcement on Tuesday.

Returning member Gerri Sharpe and new members Pauletta Tremblett and Michelle Gruben will make up the executive leadership of the national Inuit women’s organization based in Ottawa.

On March 10, former vice-president Gerri Sharpe was acclaimed to the position of interim president for a one-year term, following the departure of longtime president Rebecca Kudloo in February.
