Bob Murphy appointed new CEO and president of Yellowknives Dene’s business arm

There’s been a shake-up at the top of the business arm of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation.

Det’on Cho Corporation’s former CEO and President, Roy Erasmus Jr., has left the company.

The Yellowknife-based company has also confirmed Rick Miller, Det’on Cho’s vice-president of Mining and Construction, is also no longer with the company.

Det’on Cho’s board has appointed consultant Bob Murphy as the new CEO and President. Buddy Stroich has been appointed as the new vice-president. Stroich is the former president of Gwich’in Development Corporation.
