Montréal, November 23, 2018 – Sphinx Resources Ltd. (“Sphinx” or the “Corporation”) (TSX-V: SFX) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremie Ryan as Vice President, Corporate Development. Mr. Ryan’s principal mandate will be to support the Corporation’s growth and assist with the management of community relations in the Pontiac Regional County Municipality (“Pontiac”) where Sphinx conducts exploration activities.
Mr. Ryan is a resident of Mansfield-Pontefract, in the Pontiac and a shareholder of Sphinx. Throughout his career he has worked locally in the forest products industry in a variety of roles including as union representative. He has worked in the financial sector and has owned and operated local businesses. He has been involved with several non-profit organizations and forged solid relationships with the local community.
Normand Champigny, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sphinx, commented that, “Mr. Ryan has been a key supporter in developing strong relationships with the local community and instrumental in developing a shareholding in the Corporation of close to 20% being held by shareholders based in the Pontiac and southwestern Quebec.”
His appointment remains subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
