Stephenville is site of aboriginal business forum – Western Star

Mawio’mi, the Qalipu Mi’kmaq First Nation’s annual aboriginal business forum, is taking place in Stephenville on March 25 and 26.
Registration is now open for this annual forum, the main avenue for aboriginal entrepreneurs and member-owned business leaders to meet and network with industry officials.
These connections help inform entrepreneurs of current business opportunities, including the Hebron, Muskrat Falls and Maritime Link projects and provides information needed to avail of such opportunities.
The event, taking place at the Day’s Inn in Stephenville, begins with a social at 7 p.m. on March 25 and is followed by a full day of presentations and networking on March 26.
