Labour market outcomes for college and university graduates, class of 2010 to 2014
Even with the same university degree or college diploma, female graduates earn, on average, less than their male counterparts two years after graduation. Results from a new study, based on administrative data, are focused for the first time on the annual employment income of college and university graduates over time in all provinces and territories.

Study: The association between job flexibility and job satisfaction
Workers whose job gives them some control over their hours of work report higher levels of job satisfaction, according to a new study based on the Longitudinal and International Study of Adults (LISA).
Quarterly capital spending: Oil and gas industries, third quarter 2018
Capital expenditures in the oil and gas extraction industries, including exploration and evaluation, declined 11.6% from the third quarter of 2017 to $9.3 billion in the third quarter of 2018. The decline can be explained by the completion of major projects.

Lumber production fell 2.5% from August to 5 385.4 thousand cubic metres of lumber in September. Production was 3.8% lower than in September 2017.
