Payroll employment, earnings and hours, November 2018
Average weekly earnings of non-farm payroll employees were $1,012 in November, little changed from the previous month. Compared with 12 months earlier, earnings grew by 2.0%.
Annual Head Office Survey, 2017
The number of head office employees in Canada increased 0.3% from 2016 to 228,130 in 2017, while the number of head offices was virtually unchanged at 2,729.
Retail Services Price Index, third quarter 2018
The Retail Services Price Index (RSPI) rose 1.2% in the third quarter, mainly as a result of higher margins at building material and garden equipment and supplies dealers.
Wholesale Services Price Index, third quarter 2018
Margins for products sold by Canadian wholesalers, as measured by the Wholesale Services Price Index (WSPI), were up 0.3% in the third quarter. Overall, four of the eight subsectors posted margin gains, while the remaining subsectors posted declines.
Aircraft movement statistics: Major airports, November 2018
There were 428,861 aircraft take-offs and landings at the 91 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations in November, up from 414,525 movements in November 2017.
Poultry and egg statistics, January 2019
Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats as well as edible dried egg products are available for January 2019. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for December 2018. Data on egg production are available for November 2018.
