Trans Mountain Corporation (“Trans Mountain” or “the Company”) today released its 2024 Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) report.
“I am pleased to share our annual ESG report for 2024, showcasing a landmark year as the expanded pipeline system entered service,” said Mark Maki, Chief Executive Officer of Trans Mountain. “For more than 70 years, we have been safely and reliably connecting communities to prosperity and people to opportunities. We remain committed to supporting and building prosperity in the communities our pipeline traverses, through job creation, capacity-building, and meaningful community support.”
Key highlights and notable achievements from Trans Mountain’s ESG progress in 2024 include:
“The Trans Mountain pipeline system is vital infrastructure for Canadians and its economy. It is Canada’s only pipeline system to the West Coast, and our three-berth Westridge Marine Terminal provides critical tidewater access to global markets, including Asia,” continued Maki.
Trans Mountain plays a key role in safely connecting energy sources with people in Canada and around the world. As a responsible company, Trans Mountain will continue contributing to Canadian prosperity while striving to balance the economic, social, and environmental impacts of its activities.
This report highlights Trans Mountain’s continued dedication to responsibly managing ESG matters and being transparent about the organization’s progress on ESG topics relevant to its business.
