Gold and Graphite Exploration in the Right Neighborhoods
Last week, we had a discussion with Stephen Stewart, president of Xmet. Xmet owns a 100% interest in the Grasset property, contiguous to Balmoral’s Ni-Cu-Au-PGE property and on the prolific Detour-Sunday Lake deformation zone (DSLDZ), as well as the Blackflake graphite property in Ontario, in close proximity to Zenyatta Ventures’ Albany graphite deposit in northeastern Ontario. Xmet is subscribing to the philosophy that new discoveries are often made in proximity to established world-class deposits. With ongoing exploration work in these two prospectove jurisdictions, we believe that Xmet is on the right track to potentially make a discovery.
