Anishinabek Nation kicks off 6th Annual Lands, Resources and Economic Development Forum – Anishinabek News

ANISHINABEK NATION HEAD OFFICE (February 15, 2022) – The Anishinabek Nation welcomes member First Nations, Anishinabek citizens and representatives, industry experts, and government officials at the 6th Annual Lands, Resources, and Economic Development Forum: Kina-Gego-Naabadosin—Everything is Connected.
“As has been with previous Forums, this year’s event will focus on interconnectedness – of the land, resources, and our people – and its importance in times of healing, growth, and prosperity,” states Anishinabek Nation Grand Council Chief Reg Niganobe. “The Anishinabek Nation welcomes our First Nation leaders, technicians in the areas of lands, resources and economic development, and interested individuals ready to learn and come together to discuss issues and opportunities facing First Nations.”
