COVID-19, while devastating economies globally, gives us the opportunity to reimagine and reinvent economies for more holistic, equitable outcomes and expedite the pathway to economic reconciliation. Focused on incorporating First Nations rights, resilience, culture and values into the mainstream economy, tune in for panels on:

  • Rejecting GDP as a measure of economic success, in favour of using BC First Nations values to develop holistic indicators of wellbeing
  • Indigenous trade and intellectual property legislation and practice
  • COVID-19: Effects on First Nations businesses, First Nations resilience and innovation
  • First Nations as leaders in sustainable, green economies

Continue to check this Eventbrite page, as speaker and agenda are confirmed and details are updated. We hope that you will find yourself with a renewed vision for the future of local, regional, national and international economies.
