Bearspaw First Nation purchases Clearwave Broadband – CFWE

Clearwave will continue to be based out of Edmonton

The Bearspaw First Nation has made it’s first major acquisition since creating the Ozja Thiha Legacy Trust.

On Tuesday February 1st , the deal closed to purchase the Edmonton based Clearwave Broadband Networks, a high speed internet provider in the province.

This marks a major step towards expanding Bearspaw’s economic development portfolio and gains experience by building and managing Morley based Stoney Nakoda Telcom.

SNT was established in 2015 and has a network throughout Morley and Eden Valley which provides 95% of the Nations residents with high speed internet.
