Alberta NDP leader is premier-designate after astonishing election win
Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall went on Twitter last night to briefly congratulate Alberta NDP leader Rachel Notley on her party’s stunning election victory.
“Congratulations to @RachelNotley and the Alta NDP on winning #abvote,” was the comment from Wall Tuesday night.
Alberta’s New Democrats won 53 seats Monday, easily enough to form a majority government, turfing out the Progressive Conservatives after more than four decades in power.
