The City is working with government and philanthropic partners on a new pilot program to spark innovative projects that address social change and promote inclusion for all residents.
With our partners, we will help co-fund opportunities for community non-profit groups to turn creative ideas into viable projects that foster inclusion and belonging among our most vulnerable citizens.
Our partners are the Community Action Initiative, Vancouver Foundation, Vancouver Coastal Health, and First Nations Health Authority.
Pilot offers scholarships, expert support, and experimentation
Eligible organizations or individuals will receive scholarships to bring forward and develop an innovative idea that creates or enhances social inclusion for vulnerable populations. Projects will also receive design and development support from coaches and mentors who are experts in social innovation.

To participate in this opportunity, you must attend a public workshop or webinar.
The Vancouver workshop will be held 11:30am to 4:30pm on October 6, 2014, at Creekside Community Centre.
