Doug White to run for Regional Chief of the B.C. Assembly of First Nations, an arm of national group
Former Snuneymux chief Doug White announced his intention to return to politics with a tweet that he will run for Regional Chief of the B.C. Assembly of First Nations.
The BCAFN, which represents 203 First Nations across the province, is an arm of the National Assembly of First Nations.
“It’s a critical moment that we’re in, in the history of the relationship between First Nations and the Crown,” said White, on his decision to run.
