February 2022 Project Update – Cedar LNG

By using an innovative design philosophy that fits the facility into the local environment, Cedar LNG will minimize impacts to the environment while creating prosperity for the Haisla Nation and the region.

Project Key Features

•  Owned and led by the Haisla Nation in partnership with Pembina
•  Powered by clean, renewable energy from BC Hydro
•  Floating design to minimize terrestrial effects
•  Use of air cooling to minimize effects on water use and quality
•  Location selected to avoid culturally important watercourse and sensitive habitats
•  Innovative marine terminal design, with strut mooring system, to reduce effects to the marine environment
•  Production of approx. 3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa)
