GNWT issues Stanton Renewal Request for Qualifications

YELLOWKNIFE (May 16, 2014) – The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) has issued a Request for Qualifications requesting submissions from proponents to support the Stanton Territorial Hospital Renewal Initiative. Proponents that best meet the required qualifications will be shortlisted and then asked to submit detailed proposals.

The Request for Qualifications is listed on the GNWT’s Contract Opportunities web page at http://www.contractregistry.nt.ca/, and provides contact details for interested parties to request a copy. The Stanton Territorial Renewal Initiative underwent a Public-Private Partnership (P3) Feasibility Analysis and Business Case preparation in accordance with the GNWT’s P3 Management Framework in late 2013 that concluded a P3 procurement approach was best suited for the project.

Due to the complexities of the project, expertise required and need for comprehensive evaluation of submissions, the final selection of the preferred proponent is not expected before June 2015.
