Press Release
November 18, 2014
Saskatoon, SK. The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) is responding to patron feedback and expanding the Gold Eagle Casino (GEC) this winter by adding 5,000 square feet to their already 34,033 square foot entertainment facility.
“With construction already underway GEC is focused on no interruptions in service for their patrons. Both the Kihiw Restaurant and the GEC Casino are open for business.” Zane Hansen, President & CEO of SIGA
Patrons will notice a significant amount of activity on the site this month. This week demolition, temporary walls, as well as construction piles will be part of the activities being completed by First Alliance Construction. The building and roof completion dates have been set early in 2015. The objective of the project is to create a segregated Smoking Room and SIGA’s goal for completion is for the end of June.
The project will create an avenue for sustained growth in our business for the next ten years.
