Toronto, ON, December 8, 2014 – The Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres (OFIFC) is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for organisations to apply to the Ottawa Aboriginal funding stream of the Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS).
Through the Ottawa Aboriginal funding stream, successful projects will deliver services using a Housing First approach to facilitate housing for Aboriginal peoples who experience chronic and episodic homelessness, and to provide supportive services to other homeless and at risk of becoming homeless Aboriginal peoples in Ottawa.
There is $1,030,734 in total funding available for projects from April 2015 to March 2017.
