The Quebec Native Women’s Association has been fighting for the rights of its members for forty years.
But now they’ve learned the federal government no longer considers them an Aboriginal Representative Organization (ARO).
There have been lay-offs and more people could lose their jobs as the effect of the budget cut sinks in.
And they’re not alone.
