As the rolling protest against the new vaccine mandate for truckers now in effect on both sides of the Canada-U.S. border continues its cross-country trek to Ottawa, there’s no indication so far that the government is considering relaxing the new rules.

There is, however, a good chance that concerns over the potential impact that the changes could have on an already shaky supply chain will come up as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his front bench team gather via webcam later this morning for another round of closed-door discussions during the second — and final — day of their pre-sitting “virtual cabinet retreat.” (10 AM)
