Amid ongoing uncertainty over what will happen with the open-ended anti-vaccine mandate protest that has encircled the precinct — and ensnarled the downtown core of the capital — since last Friday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to make his first on-camera appearance since the self-proclaimed ‘Freedom Convoy’ rolled into town.
According to his office, Trudeau — who has been self-isolating since Thursday after being exposed to COVID by one of his children — will “deliver remarks and hold a media availability” later this morning, albeit with “restricted pool coverage,” although “journalists can dial in to listen and ask questions.” (11:15 AM)
