In a series of tweets posted amid the first wave of reports on what Russian President Vladmir Putin calls a “special military operation,” Trudeau described the attack as “egregious,” and called on Russia to “immediately cease all hostile and provocative actions against Ukraine,” as well as “withdraw all military and proxy forces from the country.”
