Just a few hours after he served notice that he would be revoking the emergency order issued earlier this month in response to the then-ongoing anti-COVID mandate protests and blockades, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing another crisis — this time, in Ukraine, where, as the Star notes, “a long feared invasion” by Russian forces “is fully underway,”
In a series of tweets posted amid the first wave of reports on what Russian President Vladmir Putin calls a “special military operation,” Trudeau described the attack as “egregious,” and called on Russia to “immediately cease all hostile and provocative actions against Ukraine,” as well as “withdraw all military and proxy forces from the country.”
