Represent the following Communities as Board of Directors Baker Lake, Repulse Bay, Whale Cove

Kivalliq Partners in Development (KPID) is a subsidiary of the Kivalliq Inuit Association. KPID is dedicated to building a viable and healthy economy for the Inuit of the Kivalliq Region. Kivalliq Partners in Development will pursue this mission by:

  • To deliver INAC, HRSDC, KIA and NTI programs and services in a coordinated and cost efficient manner in order to increase economic and labour force development support to Inuit clients in the Kivalliq region.
  • Seeking out opportunities for partnerships and joint ventures in business providing

goods or services in the Kivalliq Region and Nunavut.

  • Strengthening the economic base of the Region by encouraging established businesses to bring expertise, technology, and capital into the Region.
  • Encouraging business partners to provide training and job opportunities for Inuit in the Kivalliq Region.

Minimum KIA Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have an acute understanding and experience in the field of business
  • Must have a criminal records check

To be considered, candidate must be actively and personally committed to represent the interests of beneficiaries of the Kivalliq Region. KIA has implemented an open and accountable process for considering qualified beneficiaries.
