Media Advisory – Canadian Mental Health Association brings its annual meeting of the minds on mental health to Montréal

Press Release

MONTRÉAL, Oct. 18, 2018  – In its 100th anniversary year, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) will hold its third annual three-day Mental Health for All Conference (MH4A 2018) in Montréal, Québec from October 22-24, 2018. The national event, themed Ahead by a Century: The Shape of Things to Come, brings together national leaders, front-line workers, people with lived experience and change makers from across the country to set the mental health agenda for the next hundred years.

With generous support from Lundbeck Canada and the Mental Health Commission of Canada, the conference will feature 76 workshops across 8 streams, with high-profile speakers in mental illness prevention and mental health promotion addressing timely topics such as youth and cannabis, decriminalizing illegal drugs for recreational use, psychologically healthy workplaces and Indigenous mental health.

CMHA Québec Division, a co-host of MH4A 2018, leads the final day of the conference in discussions of Environments, Society and Mental Health.
