The Ontario Science Centre is hosting the 15^th annual Canadian Association of Science Centres Conference. The three-day event is expected to welcome over 150 delegates from across the country. This is a chance for science centre leaders to reflect on today’s opportunities and challenges facing science centres, as well as discuss their role in shaping the future.

Friday, May 5 at 8:00 a.m. Official Opening
The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will welcome delegates of the Canadian Association of Science Centre’s annual conference.

Friday May 5 at 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.
Nina Simon is the Executive Director of the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History. She will focus on how to make science centres more relevant and make the work of such organizations more essential and valuable to the communities they serve.

Saturday May 6 at 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Sheila Watt-Cloutier is a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Inuit leader and Advocate/Activist. She will present her new model for 21^st century leadership and share her passion on the urgency of climate change and its connection to today’s broader public issues.
