Relationships and partnerships were celebrated Tuesday night on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte held a Corporate Appreciation Dinner at the community centre where members recognized and thanked organizations who have assisted the Mohawks in bettering their community.
Chief R. Donald Maracle said the night was aimed at promoting the positive working relationships that have been established between the Mohawks, corporations and various government ministries.
“We all have work to do, as Aboriginal leaders and Aboriginal members in our communities, as well as people who sit in offices in government, executive administration of government or in the corporate boardrooms,” he said.
