— MPs to debate Emergencies Act declaration: The Liberals have formally tabled the declaration of an emergency under the Emergencies Act, meaning MPs can now debate the measures in the act and potentially vote on amendments. Until amendments are made, the act will be in effect exactly as the Liberal government proposed it.
