— Trudeau in Latvia for NATO talks: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in Latvia today and will meet with NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg. They will visit the Ādaži Military Base, where NATO troops are stationed in a mission led by several hundred Canadians. Latvia is Canada’s largest military deployment, with up to 700 soldiers to be present there soon. Trudeau is expected to extend Canada’s deployment beyond 2023.
