Nault attempts comeback – The Chronicle Journal

Another former Northwestern Ontario politician is returning for a run at the federal Kenora riding.

Bob Nault was nominated Sunday as the Liberal candidate in the riding for this fall’s federal election.

Nault, a former Minister of Indian Affairs, and MP for Kenora-Rainy River for 16 years, said Monday he is excited about re-entering politics.

I’m honoured and proud to once again represent the Liberal Party of Canada in Kenora. Today, we start the real work of speaking to Northerners about the problems facing our region and our plan to address those issues.
