Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund Forestry Expo Continues April 23rd – Net Newsledger

THUNDER BAY – The Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund Forestry Expo was off to a full day of activity on Wednesday. The trade show and career fair is open to the public free of charge. There were students from St. Patrick’s High School and youth from the Thunder Bay Indian Friendship Centre attending.

There are booths from a wide variety of companies and organizations. Yes Employment is on hand to offer a path forward to job seekers.

The Forestry Expo is the first of its kind being held in Thunder Bay in the past decade. NADF Executive Director Brian Davey explains that the impetus for the expo came about as the NADF noticed a jump in the loan requests coming in from forestry companies.
