As a public funder, OTF provides a range of opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our province’s non-profit sector. OTF grants support organizations to deliver programs and services with direct community benefit across Ontario.
Through the Seed grant stream, OTF funding helps organizations build resilience and enhance their ability to deliver programs and services. Applicants can apply for funding to achieve one of the following objectives:
Create or adapt organizational strategy to build resilience and capacity to deliver programs and services.
Prepare for the future by developing or adapting digital technology to deliver programs and services.
Enhance staff and/or volunteer skills to deliver programs and services.
Design and/or pilot an innovative program or service to address a community need.
“Seed grants provide funding for a variety of initiatives to empower non-profits to innovate, address emerging community needs effectively, and build the groundwork for sustainable programs”, said Katharine Bambrick, CEO of the Ontario Trillium Foundation. “Through OTF’s latest round of approved Seed grants, 245 non-profits will be able to better prepare for future programming. We are excited to see the creative and impactful projects that will emerge from this round of funding”.
