Jacqueline Tuplin, 48, died suddenly at home on Lennox Island
LENNOX ISLAND – Jacqueline “Jack” Tuplin, 48, the NDP candidate for District 23, Tyne Valley-Linkletter, in the recent provincial election, died suddenly at her home in Lennox Island on Sunday, May 17.
Tuplin was born in Summerside, daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Pedoniquotte) Labobe. She married Danny Tuplin, and together they raised children Charlene, Joseph, Arlene, and Gordon.
Tuplin served on the Aboriginal Women’s Association, for six years as the Eastern Youth Representative, and then as president for eight years.
