Building business relationships is best done face-to-face, says Allen Sawatzky.
That why oil giant Enbridge is putting on a series of Aboriginal Business Reverse Trade Shows, the latest being held Friday at the Dakota Dunes Casino, said Sawatzky, senior manager of pipeline construction with Enbridge.
The trade show featured representatives from 12 Enbridge contractors — from main line contractors to facility contractors — who had a chance to meet people from 200 local aboriginal businesses.
“The major contractors get to meet businesses they might not know are out there,” Sawatzky said.
