Roger Augustine acclaimed as AFN Regional Chief for PEI, NB – Guardian Charlottetown

Roger Augustine of Eel Ground First Nation has been acclaimed AFN Regional Chief for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

He has been re-elected for a three-year term during elections held in Charlottetown on Thursday.

Augustine was nominated by Chief Brian Francis of Abegweit First Nation on the Island.

This is the first time the regional chief election has been held on P.E.I.
