Ajax, Pickering also receive gaming payments from Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation
The Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation recently received just over $1 million through its second-quarter gaming revenue payment for 2022.
According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), the Scugog Island First Nation pocketed $1,046,468 for hosting the Great Blue Heron Casino. That figure is the MSIFN’s gaming revenue payment for July to Sept. 30.
So far, during OLG’s fiscal year (April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023), MSIFN has received $2,024,871.
Since the gambling facility opened in May 2000, the Scugog Island First Nation has received $29,061,415, said OLG.
