Setback for children’s hospital in Sudbury – The Sudbury Star

June 11, 2015

Two physicians who pitched a proposal for a $55-million children’s hospital to health officials Wednesday were sent back to the drawing board to devise a firm business plan for how it could be built and financed.

Dr. Sean Murray, medical director of the family and child program at Health Sciences North, and HSN president and chief executive officer Dr. Denis Roy, outlined their vision of a children’s hospital to the board of directors of the North East Local Health Integration Network.

NEO Kids would consolidate pediatric services now being offered in Sudbury and add many services not available here now, the board heard.
