Retail trade, April 2025
Retail sales increased 0.3% to $70.1 billion in April. Sales were up in six of nine subsectors and were led by increases at motor vehicle and parts dealers.
Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, May 2025
In May, the Industrial Product Price Index declined 0.5% month over month and increased 1.2% year over year. Meanwhile, the Raw Materials Price Index fell 0.4% month over month and declined 2.8% year over year.

Wholesale Services Price Index, first quarter 2025
The Wholesale Services Price Index (2020=100) is now available for the first quarter.

Study: Travel arrangement, reservation and accommodation services industries, 2017 to 2023
Today, Statistics Canada is publishing a study titled “Workforce insights: Demographics in the travel arrangement, reservation and accommodation services industries, 2017 to 2023.” It explores the demographic differences among employees in the travel arrangement, reservation and accommodation services industries by leveraging administrative data to examine the workforce distribution by gender, age, full-time work status and residency status. In most of these industries, the workforce was largely composed of women, with many holding part-time positions. The largest differences across industries were observed in the age distribution.
