Since the election of U.S. President Donald Trump, trade relations between Canada and its southern neighbour have been increasingly fraught.
In an attempt to steer that relationship in a better direction, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced on April 21 a new Advisory Committee on Canada-U.S. Economic Relations.
