Labour Force Survey, October 2024
Employment was little changed in October (+15,000; +0.1%) and the employment rate fell 0.1 percentage points to 60.6%. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 6.5%.
Farm product prices, September 2024
Monthly provincial prices received by farmers in September for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available.
Stocks of frozen and chilled meats, October 1, 2024
Stocks of frozen and chilled meats in cold storage facilities totalled 126 877 tonnes as of October 1, 2024, an increase of 4.2% compared with July 1, 2024. This also represented an increase of 2.1% from October 1, 2023.
