Market turbulences and COVID-19 outbreak: The impact on Canada’s international investment position: Preliminary estimates, first quarter 2020
Given the unique situation faced by the Canadian economy in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak, Statistics Canada has produced a preliminary estimate of Canada’s net international investment position for the first quarter of 2020. Canada’s net foreign asset estimated position declined by approximately $90.0 billion in the first quarter.
Detailed preliminary data on confirmed cases of COVID-19, January 15 to April 25, 2020
A revised set of preliminary data on the number of confirmed novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reported by the provincial and territorial health authorities to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is now available. The set covers the period from January 15 to April 25, 2020.
