Leading indicator of international arrivals to Canada, July 2025

In July 2025, the preliminary number of international arrivals to Canada (returning Canadian residents and non-residents combined) by air and automobile was 6.3 million, down 15.6% from July 2024. This was the sixth consecutive month of year-over-year declines. Although non-resident arrivals by air increased, this was not enough to offset the decline.
