Study: Work-integrated learning in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic
In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, many post-secondary students have seen their work placements delayed or cancelled. These findings are important, because students who participate in work-integrated learning tend to have better labour market outcomes than those who do not.
Monthly trade in goods by exporter characteristics, March 2020
The number of Canadian enterprises exporting goods abroad slowed in 2020 compared with 2019. There were 19,706 enterprises exporting goods outside of Canada in March, a decrease of 10.7% compared with March 2019.
Monthly civil aviation statistics, March 2020
The major Canadian air carriers flew 4.3 million passengers on scheduled and charter services in March 2020, down 44.1% compared with March 2019—the largest decline ever recorded in the monthly civil aviation statistics.
Dairy statistics, March 2020
The total amount of milk sold off farms increased 0.3% year over year to 792 479 kilolitres in March. Meanwhile, milk sold off farms for fluid purposes increased 9.4% to 248 802 kilolitres. Milk sold off farms for industrial purposes decreased 3.3% year over year to 543 676 kilolitres.
Oilseed crushing statistics, April 2020
Oilseed processors crushed 845 459 tonnes of canola in April. Oil production totalled 370 176 tonnes, while meal production totalled 469 844 tonnes.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, April 2020
Millers milled 259 734 tonnes of wheat in April, while wheat flour production totalled 197 351 tonnes.

Annual Survey of Environmental Goods and Services, 2018
Preliminary data are now available from the 2018 Survey of Environmental Goods and Services. Data include national and regional revenue estimates from environmental and clean technology industries, and include domestic and export sales of environmental and clean technology goods and services, as well as employment.
