Payroll employment, earnings and hours, April 2020
Following a decline of almost one million payroll jobs in March, payroll employment fell by an additional 1,830,200 (-11.4%) in April, bringing total losses since February to 2,769,500 (-16.3%).
Detailed preliminary data on confirmed cases of COVID-19, January 15 to June 21, 2020 (revised data)
An updated set of preliminary data on the number of confirmed novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reported by the provincial and territorial public health authorities to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is now available. Along with this dataset, there are now two aggregated tables that summarize the information available in the data set. The updated information covers the period from January 15 to June 21, 2020.
Oilseed crushing statistics, May 2020
Oilseed processors crushed 855 008 tonnes of canola in May. Oil production totalled 375 880 tonnes, while meal production totalled 478 649 tonnes.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, May 2020
Millers milled 258 332 tonnes of wheat in May, while wheat flour production totalled 198 425 tonnes.

The 2018 estimates of mineral production in Canada are now available on the Annual Statistics of Mineral Production page of the Natural Resources Canada website. These data are published together with the 2019 preliminary estimates of mineral production in Canada.
