Stock and consumption of fixed capital, 2023
Net capital stock totalled $7.4 trillion in 2023, consisting of $3.4 trillion in non-residential assets, such as machinery and engineering structures, and $4.0 trillion in residential structures. The net capital stock declined 0.2 percentage points in 2023, mainly due to a deceleration in residential investment.
National and provincial input-output multipliers, 2021

Remaining useful service life ratios of non-residential capital stock, 2023
The remaining useful service life ratio of non-residential capital stock edged down from 63.4% in 2022 to 63.3% in 2023, resulting from a slowdown in investment. This was the eighth consecutive decline in the ratio and its lowest level since 2009. A decrease in the remaining useful service life ratio could indicate that new capital investment is required.
Quarterly civil aviation statistics, second quarter 2024
Operating revenue for the 24 largest Canadian air carriers totalled $8.6 billion in the second quarter, up 7.3% compared with the same quarter of 2023.
