Distributions of household economic accounts for income, consumption, saving and wealth of Canadian households, second quarter 2024
Economically vulnerable households—those with lower incomes, those with less wealth, and those in younger age groups—continue to struggle to maintain their financial well-being relative to other households amid persistently high interest rates and housing cost pressures.
Elementary–Secondary Education Survey, 2022/2023
Today, the Elementary-Secondary Education Survey is releasing data for the 2022/2023 reference period. This release includes a comprehensive overview of student enrolments, graduates and educators in public and private elementary and secondary schools across Canada. Data cover various dimensions, such as enrolments by grade, age and sex, participation in official and Indigenous languages programs, and the number of home-schooled students. Information on graduates and details on educators by age group, sex and educator work status are also available.
Provisional death counts, January 2021 to July 2024
Today’s release includes new and updated adjusted counts of death from the Canadian Vital Statistics Death Database, covering the period from January 3, 2021, to August 3, 2024. The Provisional Deaths in Canada Dashboard, which provides the most recent insights on mortality trends, as well as interactive data visualization tools, has been updated.
Farm product prices, August 2024
Monthly provincial prices received by farmers in August for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available.
