The management, scientific and technical consulting services industry group reported $33.2 billion in operating revenue in 2022, up 12.8% from 2021. This industry group offers consulting services in various sectors, such as human resources, information technology, science and economics, management, and the environment. Operating expenses rose 14.2% to $24.9 billion in 2022, resulting in an operating profit margin of 25.2%.
Farm Product Price Index, December 2023
The Farm Product Price Index (FPPI) declined 4.7% in December compared with the same month a year earlier, after recording year-over-year increases in December 2022 (+9.4%) as well as December 2021 (+26.4%). The decrease was mainly the result of lower grains and oilseeds price indexes, which outweighed the gains for livestock and animal products.
